When one thinks of buying a Bluetooth headset, three things come to mind – speed, comfort and price. I’m glad that i.Tech Dynamic’s latest offering, the MyVoice 615 fulfils these three criterion rather well.

Connects in a second

Initial pairing was speedy and took no more than a minute or two. The MyVoice 615 supports multipoint pairing up to 2 gadgets, so I paired it to a smartphone and laptop, both of which connected without hassles. The MyVoice 615’s speed really shows after the pairing, though – I switched off the phone’s Bluetooth connection and restarted the headset, then switched the Bluetooth back on and voila! It took only a second to reconnect automatically. Awesome to have if you have a tendency to leave your headset in the car.

Light as paper

The MyVoice weighs in at a mere 7.5 grams. That’s about as light as one and a half pieces of A4 70gsm paper! If it weren’t for the earpiece securing the headset to the ear, you could easily forget you were wearing it at all. That said, the silicon earpieces were a little rough around the edges, so you may need to wear it in for a few days.

Loud enough for any environment

The Bluetooth headset used to be nearly exclusively used in the car alone, but as time passed, I see these headsets being used in the office, on the sidewalk, at home and pretty much everywhere else. So I was glad to find out the MyVoice 615 is built with a loud earpiece as well as DSP (Digital Signal Processing, i.e. noise filtering), so my conversations even in slightly-loud outside environments were loud and clear both ways.

On the whole I was very pleased with the i.Tech MyVoice 615. A solid performer!
