The Rakyat Post shamelessly plagiarised Cilisos.my’s article

On Monday, 21st July 2014, Cilisos.my writer Lydia Kwan wrote a beautiful article about 5 Malaysians who restored our faith in humanity, which was a wonderful break from negativity that the nation had been plunged into, following the tragic crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. At time of writing, the article got over 6,000 Facebook shares.

On Tuesday, 22nd July 2014, The Rakyat Post ‘reported’ that Cilisos.my had written an article about 5 Malaysians who restored our faith in humanity (with the exact same title), then proceeded to copy-and-paste pretty much the entire article into their own page, with linkbacks in between paragraphs.

Copyscape, a plagiarism checker, lists The Rakyat Post’s article as a plagiarised copy.

Shame on you, The Rakyat Post.

Shame on you, The Rakyat Post. Shame. On. You.
