Apparently our galaxy will collide with the Andromeda Galaxy

AndroMilk in the making - via Hubble telescope at NASA

Just saw this yesterday from Engadget. Apparently our galaxy is on a surefire collision with the Andromeda galaxy within 4 billion years, thanks to the report from the guys at Hubble, NASA (check out the looooong story here). They’re jokingly calling it “Milkomeda” but I personally prefer AndroMilk, at least we can export our milk products to other galaxies with a proud name already in hand. Assuming we’re still alive, of course, living somewhere else in the galaxy.

Oh, I forgot to mention that our sun will explode and die within a few million years, so if we don’t end up killing ourselves with nuclear wars, or if Skynet doesn’t eventually take over the planet, or if Armageddon doesn’t happen (it’s *SO* gonna happen – but hey it’s up to you what you wanna believe), then what’s left of humanity will have to move to another solar system. But that’s another story for another post, eh?
